Terms & Conditions for Snap Ride Drivers

• Engagement: You engage as an independent contractor. You are responsible for your own taxes, GST, superannuation and business expenses. Nothing here creates an employment relationship.
• Eligibility: Active ABN, valid Australian driver licence appropriate for the vehicle, any required state/territory authorisations (e.g. PTD/Driver Accreditation), and current police and right‑to‑work checks.
• Vehicle: Your vehicle must be registered, roadworthy and insured (CTP required; comprehensive recommended). Keep maintenance and cleanliness to a professional standard.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all road rules, fatigue management and local transport regulations. Zero tolerance for alcohol/drugs while driving. Report any safety incident or infringement to Snap Ride within 24 hours.
• Conduct: Provide professional, courteous service. Harassment, discrimination or abusive behaviour is prohibited. You must comply with Snap Ride’s community standards and lawful directions relating to safety and service quality.
• Shifts & Timekeeping: Use the Snap Ride app for geo clock‑in/out and (where applicable) selfie verification. Tampering with location, identity or timesheets is grounds for removal.
• Rates & Invoicing: Base rate is $35/hour (incl. GST). Weekend loading +10% and night loading +10% may apply where rostered and approved. You must submit accurate weekly invoices (including your ABN and GST, if registered). Payments are made to the bank details you provide.
• Equipment & Data: You are responsible for a functioning smartphone and data plan to run the app. You consent to collection and use of operational data (e.g., location, telemetry, rostering) to deliver the service and for compliance, consistent with the Privacy Notice.
• Suspension/Termination: Snap Ride may suspend or end access to rosters or the platform for safety, misconduct, policy breaches, regulatory issues, fraud, or prolonged inactivity.
• Policies & Changes: Snap Ride may update policies, rates or rosters with notice where practicable. Continuing to use the platform after notice constitutes acceptance.
• Governing Law: These terms operate alongside applicable Commonwealth and state/territory laws. If a term is unlawful, the remainder still applies.
• Acceptance: By submitting an application or working a shift, you acknowledge you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
